Tim and the Lib Dem Focus team took to the streets of Bridges Ward over the weekend to canvas, campaign and leaflet. Residents turnout was strong, and the results show a strong supporter network for Lib Dems and a hunger for more Liberal presence in the ward.
Jonathan's campaign has been fast-paced and strong since the election was called earlier in the summer.
"I want people to see, hear and feel that I am with them as a resident of the ward, and for them as their candidate. I WILL hold Labour to account on their failings such as the town centre decay, the delay in the quays development, and the mismanagement of council assests, resulting in huge costs and unreasonable council tax increases".
In addition to putting in the miles on the doors this weekend, Tim debuted in his first Great North Run, getting across the line at a solid 2hrs 15mins.
