Gateshead charges the highest levels of Council Tax for band D properties of any metropolitan borough in the country but residents feel that it is out of touch and unresponsive. That has to change!

Our team of 18 Councillors represent seven wards across Gateshead. We actively campaign across the borough, and we gained a new Councillor in each of the last three elections. We have been the only Opposition to Labour on the Council since 1996.
